The Internet of Things (IoT) camp will focus on applying programming skills and ideas to create a simple IoT application. This project-based camp will involve wiring a simple IoT circuit on a breadboard and then soldering the designed circuit on a prototype Printed Circuit Board (PCB). The students will then program the designed circuit using programming tools to create a simple IoT device. The students will then build an IoT application and test it using the IoT ecosystem. The students will be provided with all the resources, hardware, and the materials needed to build the PCB and to design the IoT application. The students will take home the PCB circuit that they build.
This camp will not provide lunch or snacks, so students should plan to bring their own. We will provide refillable water bottles to use throughout the week (students will keep water bottles at the end of the camp).
